The RAC 2.3-200-460-DPD-W1 spindle drive controller is a highly sophisticated drive controller manufactured by Indramat technological company to provide intelligent digital control for industrial servo motors. The spindle drive controller is specially designed to control two major types of servo motors, which are the Indramat 2AD asynchronous main spindle motor and the 1MB frameless spindle motor. The RAC 2.3-200-460-DPD-W1 spindle drive controller provides machines with high stiffness and a broad speed range, causing an increase in the productivity of industrial machines. The drive controller can dectect motor revolution as high as 1/4 000 000 revolutions; this allows it to efficiently control the servo motors even at very low speed. It is perfectly suited for nummerically controlled industrial machines.
The RAC 2.3-200-460-DPD-W1 spindle drive controller produces a continuous power output and peak controller power output of 55 kilowatts. During power interruption, the drive controller produces a continuous regeneration output of 37 kilowatts; it can also maintain a peak regeneration output of 55 kilowatts for about 5 seconds. The drive controller does not have a bleeder. To connect to the mains electricity, the drive controller uses a three-phase electrical connector from which it receives 3 x AC 400 Volts, 50 Hertz, or 3 x AC 460 Volts, 60 Hertz.
