Product Description
Rexroth Indramat’s RAC2.2-200-460-LP0-W1 drive controller has a current rating of 300A that can be connected directly to a three-phase supply of either 3X400 volts or 3X460 volts. The digitally controlled drive is identified by high rigidity and a high-speed motor with an output of 30 to 52 kW. These features make it suitable for use as one of the primary spindle drives in a machine tool that is managed and controlled numerically. The device has an inbuilt emergency stop switch to protect it from braking whenever power failure occurs.
The specific parameters as well as other applications required for installation are input on the site with the aid of a keypad. The device adheres to class F humidity with DIN 40 040. If the installation is in high-risk humidity rooms with cold/high temperatures, then a maximum of 70% humidity cannot be exceeded. The primary spindle drive should be operated within a temperature range of +5 to 45 degrees and a maximum of +55 degrees C to avoid overheating. The driver emits heats when in use, and so cooling is done with air from either a controlled cabinet inside or outside the room depending on how the device has been mounted.
The RAC 2.2-200-460-LP0-W1 has been manufactured based on DIN VDE 0160, Sec. 5.5.1.3, and 6.5.1.3 compliancy for installation into secured housing or controlled cabinet. It has a protection class of IP 10 that follows the EN 60 529 regulations for such specific applications. In case the drive controller fails or stops to work as a result of a mistake only Rexroth Indramat customer service employees or equally qualified personnel should be allowed to fix the equipment. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
