The model R-IB IL AI 2/SF-PAC is an input module designed for Inline station applications. It supports analog signal acquisition to enable the measurement of current and voltage in industrial automation systems. This versatile module integrates seamlessly into Inline bus systems.
The module provides two single ended analog inputs that support both voltage and current signals. It accommodates three distinct current ranges (0 - 20 mA, ± 20 mA, 4 - 20 mA) and two voltage ranges (0 - 10 V, ± 10 V) allowing for flexible application across various signal types. Each channel can be configured independently via the bus to enable users to adapt settings based on specific measurement requirements. The device operates with a process data update rate of 1.5 milliseconds per channel to ensure high speed data processing for real time applications. This input module is designed to connect sensors with 2- and 3 wire technology that provides versatility in sensor connection methods. Key electrical specifications include input resistances of 220 kΩ for voltage inputs and 50 Ω for current inputs with common mode rejection at 90 dB.
The R-IB IL AI 2/SF-PAC input module withstands operating temperatures from -25 °C to +55 °C and storage temperatures down to -25 °C and up to +85 °C and is built for industrial durability. It has IP20 protection and meets Class 3 standards per VDE 0106 and IEC 60536. It complies with shock standards per IEC 60068-2-27 and supports up to 500 kbps data transmission rates. Power requirements include a 7.5 V DC for communication and a 24 V DC for I/O operations. The module’s energy consumption is efficient with typical and maximum power consumption values of 662 mW and 882 mW respectively.
