The R-IB IL 24 PWR IN-PAC input module is designed for use in an Inline station and supplying 24 V power to both main and segment circuits. It operates within a compact 12.2 mm by 119.8 mm by 71.5 mm housing and weighs approximately 59 grams. This ensures easy integration into space constrained systems. Its operating temperature ranges from -25 °C to + 55 °C with storage and transport temperatures between -25 °C and +85 °C. This module has an IP20 protection rating. The system maintains common potentials across the 24 V main, segment and GND while providing separate test voltages for isolation between different bus and I/O supplies. This module can operate efficiently within Inline stations with a transmission speed of either 500 kbps or 2 Mbps though it is not an INTERBUS device.

The R-IB IL 24 PWR IN-PAC input module supports Inline connectors with spring cage terminals and accommodates conductor cross sections from 0.08 mm² to 1.5 mm². It features a diagnostic indicator and its design allows for the inclusion of external fuses for circuit protection. The 24 V main circuit (UM) is connected through terminal points 1.2 and 2.2 with ground connections on terminal points 1.3 and 2.3. The model operates within a permissible voltage range of 19.2 V to 30 V and a maximum current of 8 A. Safety measures include polarity reversal protection and surge voltage protection using suppressor diodes between specific terminals.
