The R-IB IL 24 PWR IN input module is developed for use within INTERBUS Inline stations. The model is designed to supply power to communications components when the potential jumper's current limit is reached. This compact module measures 48.8 mm in width, 120 mm in height and 71.5 mm in depth. It weighs approximately 132 grams without connectors.

This R-IB series input module provides a reliable 24 V DC power input with a tolerance range of - 15 % to + 20 % accommodating fluctuations in voltage. It supports spring clamp terminal connections for ease of use and can handle a maximum cable length of 30 meters. The module's current carrying capacity is rated at 8 A that allowing it to handle significant loads. It ensures dependable performance under varying conditions with built in safeguards for polarity reversal and surge protection. It features a permissible ripple of ± 5 % helping maintain stable power output to connected devices. Its housing is built to withstand air pressures ranging from 80 kPa to 106 kPa in operational environments up to 2000 meters above sea level and up to 3000 meters during storage or transport.

The R-IB IL 24 PWR IN input module also features two separate power channels: a 24 V main supply and a 7.5 V DC communications power supply with electronic short circuit protection. This setup facilitates isolated power distribution when needed to ensure safe operation by preventing unintended current flow between units. The degree of protection is rated at IP20 per IEC 60529 suitable for indoor environments.
