The R-IB IL series terminal offers 32 digital output connections each capable of a 0.5 A nominal current output to ensure steady performance under demanding conditions. It operates with a total terminal current of up to 8 A and supports 24 V DC nominal output voltage with a differential voltage tolerance of ≤ 1 V. Each actuator connection uses single wire technology. The short circuit and overload protection mechanisms are incorporated into the model to enhance system stability and safeguard against electrical faults. The module connects through spring cage terminals accommodating conductor cross-sections ranging from 0.2 mm² to 1.5 mm². The terminal also features diagnostic and status indicators that allow operators to monitor the system's operational state efficiently.

The R-IB IL 24 DO 32/HD-PAC inline terminal is shielded against environmental hazards with IP20 protection. It supports up to 140 mA maximum current at UL with 1.05 W power consumption and a segment supply voltage of 24 V DC. Thermal coupling groups of four channels allow controlled error isolation. In terms of load capabilities, it accommodates ohmic, lamp and inductive loads each with specific nominal load capacities. Additional protective elements include overload and reverse voltage protection with an integrated Zener diode. It can resume functionality within 3 seconds in the event of a short circuit.
