This R-IB series input module features 16 digital inputs using 3 wire connection technology and spring cage connections to facilitate a secure setup and smooth signal transmission. It operates with a 24 V DC input voltage and a fast response time of less than 1 ms. The unit supports signal voltages with ranges from -3 V DC to 5 V DC for a "0" signal and 15 V DC to 30 V DC for a "1" signal. It is designed to operate efficiently at nominal voltage levels with a typical nominal input current of 3 mA. The module operates in a process data mode with one word functionality to enhance communication speed within the control system. It connects to an inline local bus with a data transmission rate of 500 kbps supporting efficient data transfer across systems.
