The PST650-EW is a compactly designed 800 Amps weld controller from Rexroth. By mass, its weight is approx. 11kgs. The design of the integrated power supply unit of this equipment is a two-phase thyristor power supply unit that leverages on non-linear metal-oxide varistors (MOVs) for protection against overvoltage. The PST650-EW features a voltage rating of 400 – 600 volts and a frequency of 50/60 Hertz.

This equipment loses heat through a water-cooled method. The minimum flow quantity of the cooling liquid is 10 litres per minutes, and it experiences a maximum pressure difference of 0.9 bar. All defective components and parts of the PST650-EW must be replaced with immediate effect. This equipment uses a buffer battery, and it must be replaced at an interval of 2 years.
