Product Description

The PST6250.630-L is a smart semiconductor-technology based power unit used with welding transformers employed in industrial applications. This smart Power unit is developed by Bosch-Rexroth and serves the basic purpose of monitoring and controlling the transformer of the AC welding setup. The product has a proven industrial experience. The PST6250.630-L provides a precise control and function accuracy of controlling the welding transformer and delivers a flawless operation for metal resistance-welding.

The overloading of the power unit is closely monitored and a unit fault message is generated with system output halt in case of overload condition. The unit is a 2-Phase Alternating Current power unit with integrated Weld timer and a high accuracy weld transformer.  The power unit is offered in a portable metal box and can be customized to various pluggable modules, offered by Bosch, as per customer requirements.

When the unit is powered up the green LED of the weld timer CPU, on the front panel lights up. This LED indicates the safe and ready to use state of the power unit. This Thyristor-power-unit is designed with air-cooling feature. The PST6250.630-L Thyristor power unit must be installed with a minimum permissible clearance of 100 mm on top and bottom. Without this minimum clearance, heat may accumulate and can cause the power unit failure. The integrated thermal and current sensors signals the CPU for overload condition, thus restrictinf the Thyristor-power-unit to work in safe limits. The input voltage requirement of the product is 400~600 VAC and product is capable of delivering a rated current of 200A. Main voltage fluctuation from the nominal ratings must be within the specified tolerance range. The PST6250.630-L Thyristor-power-unit is designed as per industrial product regulations and safety certifications.
