The Bosch-Rexroth manufacturing presents another innovative and rugged design of 2-phase industrial welding machine drive. The embedded semiconductor-based high current driver technology, fast microprocessor, industrial communication and programming interfaces make the product reliable and efficient. The designed is based on thyristor driver rectifier unit which turns the PST6250.610-L to provide highly stable welding performance, low noise and stable Arc vs. Current characteristics. Automatic current stabilizing and stat-of-the-art design ensure safe and reliable continuous operation hours.
The PST6250.610-L features welding timer with inbuilt central processing unit so the operator can easily select and adjust timer settings. The product is designed as a compact portable metal sheet box unit, reducing cabling thus provides working comfort to the operator. The Thyristor Power unit is housed with a slot for type-specific I/O (input/output) interface, a slot for optional field bus programming module and also a slot for a retrofitting a quality-module. In order to ensure high operational reliability and stability, various monitoring functions are incorporated in the PST6250.610-L thyristor design. There is a thermostatic switch to signal any overload on the Thyristor Power Unit to the weld timer. The weld timer then output a ”Thyristor unit fault” message and stop further operation until fault condition is removed. Water or liquid cooling is used for controlling the thermal overloading of the unit. The product is designed, manufactured and tested in compliance with the essential safety requirements of the EU machine directive. This product normally pose no danger to life and property if used in accordance with the safety notes prescribed for their configuration, mounting, and proper operation. Input of the units is 400 to 600 Volt, 50/60 Hz with rated current 200 Amperes. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
