The PST6101.321-L is a Thyristor-Power-Source for welding transformers and is capable to process high current at relatively low voltage so as to produce sufficient heat to melt the joint and to generate a stable welding arc. The product is the state-of-the-art invention by Bosch-Rexroth manufacturing with integrated control and monitoring features. The unit can be utilized as a high-robust industrial welding power source and can be used efficiently in a variety of tough industrial welding applications. The PST6101.321-L Thyristor-Power-Source works in connection with a welding transformers for nominal power rating up to 76KVA. The prime subcomponents of a standard Welding platform are the Thyristor-Power-Source, a welding timer and a welding transformer.
The Thyristor-Power-Source is constructed on modern semiconductor design providing efficient control and built-in monitoring functions. The product is consistent and proficient for long-hour operations due to a high-current and high power capabilities. The power unit provide rugged and immaculate operation for resistance welding of metals and is suitable for industrial applications (as per DIN EN 50082-2). The PST6101.321-L Thyristor-Power-Source implements air cooling for ensuring thermal stability. The power unit supports parallel and serial input and output connections. It is made with additional slots on the front panel for retrofitting a quality module and a fieldbus interface for programming (optional). The rated input voltage of the Thyristor-Power-Source is 400V (20%) to 600V (+10%), 50/60Hz with nominal output current of 130Amperes. Temperature sensor as well as voltage and current sensors are integrated in system design to ensure product safety and durability. Operating and protection suitability of the unit is ensured for industrial environment as per IP20 and IP54. The Thyristor-Power-Source supports ambient temperature 0~ 55° C.
