Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures the PST6100.332-L with electromagnetic compatibility as per the DIN EN 50082-2 and 50081-2 for industrial operation. The thyristor power unit is designed for connecting welding transformers and is used in resistance welding of metals. The PST power unit has the following features weld timer/ central processing unit, a single-slot for the specific I/O interface, an optional slot for the field bus module for programming, and a port for retrofitting a quality module (optional). The ambient operating temperature for the thyristor power unit ranges from 0° C to 55° C with a relative humidity of 20° C at 90% as pa the DIN 40040, Humidity class F. The power unit should be stored at an ambient temperature of -25° C to +70° C in an environment free of corrosive acids and caustic solutions. Moisture should not condense on the PST power unit and should be prevented to avoid damages.
The PST6100.332-L is powered by an internal or external power supply from the welding system with a connection of 24 V DC minimum and 30 V DC maximum as per EN 61131-2. The thyristor power unit comprises a thermostatic switch that relays messages to the inbuilt weld timer if the surges above the 80° C during welding. In such a scenario of high temperature, the weld timer stops any further operations. The PST power unit is supplied with an accessory kit for mounting the inverter on the mounting plate.
Power and signal connection lines should be grounded to prevent adverse effects on the PST unit caused by capacitive or inductive interference. The thyristor power unit requires less cabling since all components of the system are integrated. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
