Product Description
The PST6100.142-L is a thyristor power unit designed by Rexroth indramat for the control the flow of current in industrial metal welding processes. The thyristor power unit helps the drive controller to control the supply of electric current; it is perfect for various types of industrial welding processes such as steam welding, spot welding, and projection welding. It can operate in any environment that meets the DIN EN 50082-2 and 50081-2 environmental requirement on electromagnetic compatibility. The device produces electromagnetic wave during operation and might interfere with the operation of sensitive some sensitive devices such as cardiac pacemakers; thus, persons that use these sensitive devices should not move near the thyristor. It features a welding box system, an efficient programming interface and a control unit which helps it to perform a smooth operation industrial applications.
The PST6100.142-L thyristor power unit is designed with special features that make diagnosis and operation of the thyristor easy and flexible. For example, the thyristor contains a light-emitting diode which is programs to emit different light colour depending on the operational status of the drive; the meaning of the different light colour emitted by the PST6100.142-L thyristor is explained in the drive documentation. The drive can be adjusted to specific applications through the B00-5000 operation interface. The thyristor is cooled by natural convection and thus should be installed in industrial positions that will perfectly suit this process. The weight of the PST6100.142-L thyristor is about 12.5 kilograms.
The operation, maintenance and servicing of the PST6100.142-L power unit should be handled by technicians who are well-trained for these activities and have carefully adhered to the safety instructions specified in the PST6100.142-L thyristor manual. Failure to follow safety instructions can cause industrial accidents. The PST6100.142-L thyristor is produced according to the IP20 protection category and according to the DIN 40040 Humidity class F. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
