The PSI65C0.747-W1 is an intelligent medium frequency inverter produced by Bosch Rexroth to provide customers that operate welding transformers with the highest level of control and monitoring operation. The operation of this inverter device is the PSG 3100.00 A and PSG 3200.00 A welding transformers series. This product has an integrated Weld Timer that functions as the Central processing Unit (CPU). The PSI65C0.747-W1 inverter product series have been specifically designed, tested, and certified to be particularly compatible for use in spot projection and resistance seam welding. The extensive control and monitoring function of the product guarantee customers with a high process reliability over a long time. The product operates with direct current which provides a higher weld quality by more dynamic current control, also the electrode life is significantly increased due to the lower thermal and mechanical load applied on the electrode tips.
The PSI65C0.747-W1 frequency converter should not be used in ambient air contaminated with acids, caustic solutions, corrosive agents, salts, and metal vapors of any major concentration. Also, the humidity class permissible for the product is class F according to DIN 40040. The maximum permissible installation height for this product is measured to be about 2000 meters above sea level. The enclosure of this housing unit is made from aluminum material which provides a very high degree of mechanical protection despite its very light weight.
Most peripheral components that would otherwise be connected to this inverter with connecting cable are already integrated into the housing of the product. The unique design eliminates the need for extensive connection cables for the integration of the inverter. This inverter is self-diagnostic and will communicate error messages to operators in real time through its weld timer.
