The PSI65C0.734-W1 frequency inverter is a state-of-the-art machine produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to carry out the control and monitoring of welding transformers. This inverter is intended for resistance welding or metals and is suitable for operation in industrial environments as per DIN EN 5008-2 and 50081-2 on electromagnetic compatibility. It can not be used for any other purpose. The operation of this product is effortless and straightforward; it is approved for use in grounded systems (TT or TN systems). Customers who want to use this product in non-grounded systems must provide an isolation transformer with its center point of earth potential in the secondary circuit must be used. The characteristic intelligent operation of this product is majorly due to the weld timer integrated into its housing unit. The timer functions as a Center Processing Unit (CPU).
The configuration, diagnosis, and error message display of the PSI65C0.734-W1 frequency inverter is done through the BOS-5000 interface that is used with this product. The basic operation of this product includes several monitoring features, including current and temperature monitoring in the welding system. The inverter contains a sensitive thermostatic switch to signal any overload on the connected welding transformer. In the case of any operation error, the weld timer on the inverter will output a fault message to alert industrial operators.
