Product Description
The PSI63C0.731-W2 from Bosch Rexroth Indramat is a part of the state-of-the-art PSI Frequency Inverters series which is aimed at providing open communication in industrial automation systems.
This unit operates as a Bus Controller with a power supply of 24V DC with a current consumption of 150 mA as a measure of power conservation. The PSI63C0.731-W2 has two bus options, CANopen and Ethernet, thus giving users the ability to choose the best method of communication for their specific industrial application. The device has two ethernet ports and one Sub-D 9-pin Connector to allow the device to easily connect to other systems. Measuring 100 x 120 x 35mm and weighing in at 210g, this makes the unit perfect for applications where space and weight are at a premium. The PSI63C0.731-W2 is designed for a wide range of operating temperatures from -10°C to +60°C thus making it fit for use in both extreme industrial conditions and normal conditions. The device is mounted in a housing with an IP20 protection rating, which allows its use in indoor premises and provides protection against solid foreign objects greater than 12 mm in size. For installation, the device can be either fixed on a DIN rail or the panel, thus making it suitable for several implementations.
The operating power consumption is 3.6W to help reduce the costs of running the device. It has LED lights to display power, communication, and fault status to facilitate easy identification and repair of the device. The PSI63C0.731-W2 also meets the EMC Class A standards making it less susceptible to electromagnetic interference and thus recommended for use in areas with high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards. It offers data transfer rates of 1 Mbps for the CANopen protocol and up to 100 Mbps for Ethernet thus providing high-speed data transfer for industrial applications. Wake Industrial offers a one-year guarantee on this product.
