Product Description
The PSI63C0.181-W2 frequency inverter is a product of years of experience and technological advancement by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is intended to provide an improved welding experience by accurately controlling the welding current supplied and the operation of connection welding transformers. The housing of this frequency inverter is compact and intended to be mounted vertically into a switchgear cabinet. It is also made from lightweight aluminum, which has an impressively high resistance against deterioration. The system component integration technique used in the design of this product also eliminates the need for a lot of cables during the wiring and installation of the inverter. Although this inverter is intended only for industrial applications, it should be protected from extreme vibrations and shocks during its operation; special care should also be taken to ensure that water condensation inside the inverter's housing is avoided.
The PSI63C0.181-W2 medium frequency inverter features a mains connection interface that requires a voltage supply of between 400 to 480 volts; there is another connection interface for the earth connection of the frequency inverter into the servo system. Important warning instructions are attached to this product's housing, and operators must pay close attention to these instructions when using the inverter.
There is a slot present at the front panel of this inverter for the connection of the field bus module. This slot connects the inverter to a host PC containing the BOS-5000 software. The connected software provides operators with a comfortable way to configure and diagnose the inverter. Error messages and fault displays are also shown on this product. The welding current of this product is between 6 to 36 kiloamperes; operators can control the intensity of this current by adjusting the pulse width.
