Product Description
The PSI6300.627-L1 is a medium frequency inverter from highly trained engineers of Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This inverter provides a seamless welding process and can be used for various types of industrial welding applications, including projection welding, repeat mode welding, seam welding and spot welding operations. There is a welding timer integrated with this inverter; the weld timer functions as the Central Processing Unit of the inverter. For operation, programming, and diagnosis operation, the PSI6300.627-L1 inverter can be connected to a PC unit through the BOS-5000 inverter present on its housing unit. PC units compatible with the inverter are required to have an operating system that is windows 95/98, NT4, or Windows 2000. It is possible to restrict the users that can carry out the operation or programming of this inverter by setting up a password.
There are a total of 256 configurable programs available for use with the PSI6300.627-L1 medium frequency inverter; this high amount of programs is particularly advantageous as it allows operators to assign a program to each welding spot in most cases, leading to a better welding quality. Up to 10 different electrode forces can be programmed during the execution of a program. The outputs on this frequency inverter are also freely programmable; operators can program up to 3 turn on/off times of the output during the sequence of a program. This programmable output function serves to control a back-pressure valve or for welding preparation of components that are subject to welding.
The PSI6300.627-L1 frequency inverter operates with four major protocol function; these include the error protocol, weld fault protocol, data change protocol and the weld current protocol. There is also an integrated diagnostic memory on the frequency inverter.
