Product Description
The PSI6300.107-L1 is an air-cooled medium frequency inverter designed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to improve industrial welding processes by providing more accurate control over the power supply unit and carrying out reliable monitoring operations. This inverter is intended to be used in combination with the PSG 3000 Welding transformer, also designed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. There is a sophisticated weld timer integrated into this product. This timer is the actual Central Processing Unit of the inverter, and it helps to ensure the controlled flow of the actual welding process by controlling a high number of functions and physical variables. The major tasks carried out by the weld timer used with this inverter include the provision of a correct and monitored welding current, the correct scheduling of different weld times, the influencing of electrode force, and the accurate communication with a high-level Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).
The PSI6300.107-L1 frequency inverter is designed for use in an ambient temperature that is not higher than 50 degrees Celsius; during storage and installation, the ambient temperature around this product can be between -25 to 75-degree Celsius without the risk of any significant damage. The firmware used by the PSI6300.107-L1 frequency inverter is stored in a Flash Memory and can be Loaded through an optional WinBlow Software package; the weld timer used with the inverter features a battery buffered RAM where the program memory of the product is stored.
The battery used to buffer the RAM is a Lithium Type AA battery with an approximate life of about two years. The PSI6300.107-L1 inverter features up to 256 programs, each of which can be called up individually through the input signals. The peak installation height for this product is about 2000 meters above sea level.
