Product Description
The PSI62C0.780-W1 frequency inverter provides customers who carry out resistance welding with the best control over the entire welding process. It boasts of producing an unrivalled welding quality and guarantees optimum operation over long periods. The inverter is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat from a production system that meets international standards and has been certified to consistently deliver excellent results over the last three decades. The housing of the inverter is made from special aluminum material that effectively prevents foreign solids that have an external diameter of 12 millimeters from interfering with the operation of the inverter. The inverter housing does not provide complete protection and requires installation into an additional cabinet for optimum protection. In the welding system, this product carries out both control and monitoring functions. These two functions operate independently of each other in the inverter; however, they combine to provide the best welding results.
The PSI62C0.780-W1 frequency inverter is easy to connect and integrate with other components in the servo system; it features a field bus interface that makes the communication process easier. Interestingly, most of the components required by this inverter have already been integrated into its housing unit. This unique housing design is responsible for the extremely low cabling requirement of the inverter. The B0S-5000 operator interface delivered with this inverter allows operators to easily run this product's programming, configuration, and diagnostic operations.
Integrated into the housing design of this inverter is a liquid cooling system that uses water as its coolant. The PSI62C0.780-W1 also features LED displays that help it quickly communicate network, operation, and error status to the operator. The recorded current supply range of this product is between 9 to approximately 54 kiloamperes.
