Product Description
The PSI6100.420-L1 frequency inverter is developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, a popular name in the automation industry. It is a 3-phase medium-frequency inverter that supports recessed mounting and operates within a wide voltage range of 400 (-20%) to 480 V (+10%). This makes the inverter appropriate for multiple operational requirements. The basic key features of this inverter are air cooling, integrated weld timing, and compatibility with parallel, serial, and Fieldbus I/O interfaces. These features make integration easy.
The PSI6100.420-L1 frequency inverter transfers a consistent current of 110 A and an output current range of 3 kA to 20 KA. This range depends on the connected welding transformer. There is an integrated weld time inside the device helping in improved process efficiency and control. The based structure supports operational modules including a quality module for enhanced monitoring and a fieldbus interface for programming. The inverter also has overvoltage protection with a metal varistor that ensures reliable operation. The IP 20 protection class needs installation within a switchgear cabinet rated at least IP 54. The cooling system also holds critical importance as it supports a maximum ambient operating temperature of 55°C while maintaining heat sink temperatures up to 45°C without additional fan cowls. This results in effective operation even under challenging conditions. The PSI6100.420-L1 frequency inverter is lightweight at 20 kg supporting easy installation and mounting connections either vertically or with its back against a mounting plate.
The PSI6100.420-L1 inverter operates at a clock frequency of 1 KHz acting as a flexible solution for precision-driven processes. The storage temperatures range from -25 °C to 70 °C which allows flexibility in transmission and storage. The modularity and adaptability of this device comply with the changing needs of industrial automation. It increases both efficiency and operational control.
