Product Description
The PSI6100.201-L1 provides medium-frequency welding through supplying MF output voltage and DC welding current. This enables the welding process to be controlled thoroughly, faster and becomes steadier. The advantage of using this MF inverter is reducing the weight of the welding transformer, more reliable welding current, and is ideal for welding aluminum and galvanized sheets. It features various monitoring functions to improve reliability such as a thermostatic switch. The PSI6100.201-L1 is part of the MF welding system that includes the PSG 3000 MF welding transformer. It is intended to control PSG 3000 welding transformers on the factory floor.
Some of its basic features include a weld timer, slots for type-specific I/O interfaces, and slots for optional Fieldbus and retrofitting a quality module. It comes with a BOS-5000 interface that enables the operator to easily program, operate, and perform diagnostics. The system component integration mitigates the need for numerous connecting cables saving on installation space. It features an air cooling method and has a rated voltage of 400 V -20% to 480 V +10%. It comes with an integrated weld timer and a temperature monitoring system. The monitoring system ensures that temperature does not exceed 65 degrees. If it does, the thermostatic switch blocks any further sequence to mitigate overload.
The air that cools the PSI6100.201-L1 should not exceed 45 degrees and should be free of acids, metal vapors, caustic solutions, corrosive agents, salts, and other corrosive agents. The ambient temperature should not exceed 55 degrees during operation. The storage temperature of the MF inverter is -25 to 70 degrees while the maximum installation altitude is 2000 meters above sea level. It comes with a one year warranty.
