The PPC-R22.1N-T-G2-V1-NN-FW is a new generation multiple-axis motion and logic control system manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to control the operation of up to 40 different drive controllers in industrial applications. This visual control system was designed with special sensors that allow it to monitor all parts of the industrial servo system independently; in the case of an operation anomaly, the control system alerts the operator by displaying an appropriate error message on its 4-unit alphanumeric matrix display unit. The PPC-R22.1N-T-G2-V1-NN-FW control system can be used to perform a lot of functions in industrial applications; these functions can range from general motion control to advanced multiple master electronic line shafting.
The PPC-R22.1N-T-G2-V1-NN-FW control system features a compact memory card, which it uses to hold all the data it requires for efficient motion control in the industrial servo system. The compact memory card is supported by a built-in battery, which allows it to hold important information even when it is powered off. The control system weighs about 1.3 Amperes. The control system can be connected to a BTC 06 portable interface through an RS422/485 combination interface. The BTC06 interface allows the operator a flexible and portable means through which the control system's operation can be monitored and controlled.
The PPC-R22.1N-T-G2-V1-NN-FW control system communicates with the drive controllers in real-time through the SERCOS interface. The housing of this control system offers it protection according to the IP20 protection category. All components of the control system must to connected to a grounding system to protect the operator from the electric shock, which can be caused by leakage current generated by the control system. Since the control system requires external interfaces for efficient operation, it is important for the operator to isolate the system connection by using either a router or a hardware firewall.
