Product Description
The PPC-R22.1N-T-G2-P1-NN-FW device manufactured by Bosch Rexroth is a PPC series CNC module of the MTC200 product family. The product features an H2 distortion display and a fiber optic transmitter for the SERCOS interface. The X16 COM serial interface of this device is used only for diagnostic purposes. There is a dedicated socket to insert the firmware module. The unit is widely deployed in machine tools. There may be chances of injury if the batteries are handled improperly. The module must be used only in those applications that adhere to the applicable safety standards and regulations. The ground wire should be connected permanently to the electrical units as per the connection diagram.
The CNC module communicates along with the MTS-R01.2 PLC assembly using a local bus provided by the manufacturer. This assembly can be connected to a RS 232/RS-485 programming interface for networking purposes. The module must be made to cool down for at least 10 minutes after switching it off before attempting to touch it. It operates between an ambient temperature range of 0°C and 45°C. The batteries removed from the module should not be disposed by throwing them into the fire. The H1 display is used for diagnosis purposes.
The module racks must be mounted before the product is installed. The rack should be engaged onto a DIN TS 35x27x15 top hat rail and fixed in position using a locking screw. There must be a grounding wire connection of at least 6mm2 from the central grounding bolt of the installation machine to the grounding bolt of the product. The CPU firmware component performs several functions such as tool management, block preparation and NC program processing. The device should not be operated outside ambient conditions such as under water. The CNC module can be delivered with a one-year warranty through a dedicated vendor network.
