Product Description
Bosch Rexroth Indramat GmbH is a group of U.S and German engineers. The firm is known for introducing state-of-the-art technology for machine automation. Rexroth Indramat has introduced motion and logic controllers, and they have taken another step to add visual motion control capabilities to the existing systems. The part number PPC-R22.1N-N-T3-NN-NN-FW is the family member of the R22.1 motion controller series launched by Rexroth Indramat GmbH. This motion controller has so many exceptional features, not to mention its long-lasting performance, superfast computing and processing, and protection against solid objects.
The PPC-R22.1N-N-T3-NN-NN-FW controller offers a housing to RECO 02 input output modules which has IP20 rating for complete protection from dust and dirt. This version offers a high range of operating temperature range, and can work under extreme pressure. As a double-width version with onboard Ethernet support and three expansion slots, the PPC-R22.1N-N-T3-NN-NN-FW controller has the capability of being upgraded to the visual motion controller. The motion controller consists of a built-in firmware and features RJ45 connection port for the Ethernet. It also offers X1 power supply monitoring, system status monitoring, and programming and communication ports.
The most noteworthy feature of the PPC-R22.1N-N-T3-NN-NN-FW controller is that it offers complete support to the Sercos automation interface. This controller features distortion LED and a reset button beneath. There are two separate slots for the Sercos transmitter and the receiver. The PPC-R22.1N-N-T3-NN-NN-FW controller is compatible with RECO 02 input output modules. For installation, the control should be in a vertical position and there should be sufficient clearance for heat dissipation. To develop proper communication between the local input output modules, the control should be installed in slot 00. Then the RECO 02 input output modules should be installed in the slot to the right of the PPC-R22.1N-N-T3-NN-NN-FW controller. All hardware and firmware should be maintained by experienced personnel as there is a risk of system malfunctioning and injury.
