Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has always been a firm believer in delivering technological innovation that promotes high levels of efficiency. With this motive, they developed the PPC Controls that are usually fitted with a SERCOS interface. Back when it was created in 1987, the term SERCOS was used to explain “serial real-time communication system”. Today, this interface allows for standardized communication between multiple components of an industrial automation system. The PPC Control system can be used in cooperation with VisualMotion or Synax. Depending on the drive which suits your application best, the Indramat PPC Control will be able to adapt and serve as a freestanding controller. This control system is best suited for systems that are programmed to conduct complex motion control tasks as well as basic robotic applications.
The PPC-R02.2N-N-NN-NN-NN-FW unit by Bosch Rexroth Indramat is part of their PPC Controller series. The PPC-R02.2N-N-NN-NN-NN-FW control is a series 2, version 2 controller with a housing version for RECO unit. Similar to other basic models of PPC controllers, Bosch Rexroth’s PPC-R02.2N-N-NN-NN-NN-FW controller is not fitted with a memory expansion module or configuration method.
Additionally, the firmware for the PPC-R02.2N-N-NN-NN-NN-FW controller is factory assigned. In order to successfully install a PPC-R unit, a module carrier system that consists of RMB02.2-04 units must be used. This double carrier is only suitable to operate as an installation carrier and for fixing the PPC-R units. The PPC-R02.2 series occupies two units in the module carrier and can handle up to 15 more I/O modules. In accordance with the application that the PPC-R unit is used for, it has PC/104 modules fitted that can be used for open field bus interfaces in order to successfully operate.
