Product Description
The NFD03.1-480-250 is a mains filter from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is intended for use with HCS converters. In general, NFD mains filters are designed to ensure that Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) limit values are strictly maintained. Also, mains filters suppress current leakages generated by line capacitors and also reduce mains pollution. The NFD03.1-480-250 operates in coordination with corresponding power units and offers optimum scalability with respect to motor cable length, current, and drives. Its filtering efficiency is dependent on its mounting position.
In combination with shielded motor cables, the NFD03.1-480-250 boasts trouble-free operations, as per EN 61800-3. The continuous current rating of this unit is 250 Amperes at a permissible operating temperature of 50 degrees C. It has a 3-phase power supply rated at 480 V and a 50 - 60 Hz line frequency rating. The NFD03.1-480-250 is suitable for use with 3-phase drive controllers with 1 - 6 axes. Its motor cable length is as specified by the manufacturer. When in use with HCS converters, the mains current required for application must be below the type current of the NFD mains filter. The leaked current of the NFD03.1-480-250 at rated data is manufacturer-specified.
The NFD03.1-480-250 is specially dimensioned for use with Rexroth Indramat drive systems and should not be used with other drive systems outside the recommended ones. In addition, this model of the NFD03 mains filter efficiently attenuates continuous RF interference during tests, as per EN 55035. The protection class of the NFD03.1-480-250 conforms with the Ingress Protection rating of 20. The operation and storage temperature range are within -25 degrees C to 100 degrees C. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
