Product Description
The NFD03.1-480-180 is a mains filter designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is intended to maintain EMC limits and minimize radio frequency interference. This device is suitable for use with the HCS series of converters. It is a Line 03 mains filter, and its variant type is 1. By dimension, it measures 130 mm width, 350 mm height, and 180mm depth. At a nominal voltage rating of 3 x AC 480 V, it has a continuous current of 180 A (at 50 degrees C) and dissipates a power of 61 Watts. Its nominal frequency ranges between 50 to 60 Hz.
The NFD03.1-480-180 is suitable for use at a variety of switching frequencies, including 4, 8, 12, and 16 kHz. In general, the design and mechanical makeup of products in the NFD mains filter series conform with the IP 20 degree of protection. It is not protected against liquids but well shielded from damage induced by objects greater than 12 mm. As a measure of safety, this category of mains filters must not be connected in series during mounting/installation to prevent incidents of resonance effects on voltage and current. Depending on the prevailing EMC requirements, NFD mains filters may be required for servo amplifiers.
The primary function of the NFD03.1-480-180 mains filter is to ensure that there is minimal current leakage generated by cable capacitors in three-phase drive controllers. This device weighs 10 kg, and it efficiently reduces noise emissions of drive systems. When combined with a shielded motor cable, it offers fault-free operations. In storage/operation, the permissible ambient air temperature must not fall below -25 degrees C, neither must it exceed 100 degrees C. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
