Product Description
The NAM4.2-480-0650-NN-120 is a line former module that is used with Indramat AC drives. It is produced by the Bosch Indramat Company. The linear former is used within an Indramat drive system which consists of motors and drives. The module can power several drives of various power requirements. The NAM4.2-480-0650-NN-120 comes with a power rectifier that is primarily used to provide DC bus voltage that supplies power to various drives and also converts AC line voltage. At times, NAM drives are used as generators. When this happens, the regenerated energy is either fed back to the system or absorbed by the bleeder resistor.
The NAM4.2-480-0650-NN-120 also features a wire-ribbon cable that supplies the signal voltage to the drives. It also comes with monitoring functionalities that monitor varies parameters such as temperature and current of the drives, motor feedback, and the load on the bleeder resistor. Communication is through the wire-ribbon cable, which cuts off the power supply in the event of a failure. The NAM4.2-480-0650-NN-120 can use KVR 1.2 and KDV 4.1 power supply module. In both a communication choke, DC Bus choke, and auxiliary capacitance are required. Bridge capacitance should, however, be used in the KVR 1.2 module.
KVR 1.2 module is used with AC drives that have a continuous mechanical power of 24kW, line voltage of 3 x 380 … 460 V AC (+/- 10%), and a continuous regenerative power of 15kW. In the KDV, 4.1 module drives with a continuous regenerative power of 20kW, DC bus continuous power of 30kW, and a line voltage of 3 x 380 … 460 V AC can be used. In both cases, a heat-sink and blower should be provided for cooling purposes. The NAM4.2-480-0650-NN-120 can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
