Product Description
The NAM1.3-15 is a line former module manufactured by Bosch Indramat. The line former module in the NAM1.3-15 can power different power requirements with great ease. It comes with a power rectifier that converts AC line voltage to a DC bus voltage for various drives in the drive system. In instances where the drive is used as a generator, the regenerated energy is either absorbed by the built-in bleeder resistor or fed back into the electrical power system. The wire-ribbon cable is the main mode of communication. It is through this cable that signal voltage is supplied to all the drives.
The NAM1.3-15 is engineered to work with INDRAMAT AC drives. It is used with either the TVD 1.2 or TVR 3.1 power supply module. The TVD 1.2 module can be used for more than one servo drive, at least 10. It is ideal for servo drives that feature a line voltage of 3 x 380 … 460V AC (+/-10%), continuous mechanical power of between 6 and 12 kW, and a DC bus continuous power ranging from 7.5kW to 15kW. The TVD module features a soft-start circuit that prevents high inrush current spikes. This mitigates the need for line connection protection devices to be oversized.
The NAM1.3-15 can also be used with the TVR 3.1 power supply module. This units line voltage is capped at 3 x 380 … 460 V AC (+/-10%). It features a continuous regenerative power of 7.5kW and a DC bus continuous power of 15kW. The NAM1.3-15 line former module, when purchased from Wake Industrial, comes with a one year warranty.
