The NAM04.2-480-0450-NE-230 model is used with KDV4.1 and KDV2.3 power supply modules to provide the link circuit DC voltage for the power supply and the control voltage for all connected INDRAMAT spindle and servo drive modules. The INDRAMAT AC drive system consists of a supply and a drive module. Several drives can be mounted to a single supply module. The line connection module when used with KDV4.1 supply module it features as DC bus continuous power of 14/30 kW, continuous regenerated power of 14/20 kW, the continuous mechanical output of 11.2/24 kW, and AC power input of 3 × 380 – 460 V. The line connection module consists on DC bus (choke and capacitor module), communication choke. The KDV 4.1 DC bus voltage is regulated so that variations in the line voltage have no effect on drive dynamics and its soft-start circuit feature prevents high inrush current spikes.
The model NAM04.2-480-0450-NE-230 comes with a dynamic braking feature so that the motor whose field is produced by a permanent magnet can even be braked if a fault occurs in the drive electronic system. The signal voltage is supplied to all drives through a wire-ribbon cable and it is also used to monitor several parameters such as motor feedback, current and temperature of the drive, the load on the bleeder resistor, and line voltage. The LED display of the module provides rapid troubleshooting. The model is equipped with a heat sink and blower which are used to dissipate heat produced during power loss. The module provides resistance against solid particles having a diameter greater than 50 mm due to its IP10 protection class. The temperature range in which the module can operate ideally is +5 to +45 degree Celsius. This module can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period provided by Wake Industrial.
