Product Description
The Rexroth Indramat MTC-R02.1-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW is a CNC module. It is comprised of a base unit with the CNC processor system and an integrated axis processor which can control 8 drives. The MTC-R02.1-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW comes with an additional axis module which means that a total of 16 drives can be controlled by the module. The MTC-R02.1-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW forms part of the MTC200-R control system which is available in an IP 20 rated enclosure. Mechanical specifications for the MTC-R02.1-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW include 1.65 kilogram weight and dimensions at 83.7 x 192 x 152 millimeters. To ensure that the module is matched to the customer requirements, Rexroth requires that the firmware be ordered separately. There are no export restrictions on the MTC-R02.1-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW module.
The MTC-R02.1-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW requires DC input and is compatible with input voltages ranging from 18 to 28 Volts DC. If the voltage drops below 18 Volts DC, the POWER-FAIL signal would cause the SPS operating system to stop. Power supply on the MTC200-R is a switched mode supply with 20 Amps inrush current rating. Rexroth does not recommend connection of multiple MTC200-R systems to the same power supply, as the high inrush current can cause the input voltage to drop below 18 Volts DC. The maximum current rating of the module is 930 milliamps. During operation the module dissipates a maximum of 26 Watts as heat. The maximum allowed cross-sectional area for the power cable is 1.5 mm2. A wire with minimum cross-sectional area of 6 mm2 should be used for system grounding. An X1 interface on the front panel of the module can be used during servicing. A status indicator is also located on the front panel for NC processor and the first axis processor. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
