The MTC-P01.2-E1-NN-NN-NN-FW model is developed by Rexroth Indramat to perform control operations in several motion control systems. The MTC-P01.2 control is designed to be installed in an industrial PC and it takes electrical power from the industrial PC. The model comes in an ISA bus module format and it belongs to the family of MTC200. The model is highly recommended to develop a cost-effective and modern motion control system. The MTC-P01.2 control consists of a CNC processor system and an integrated axis processor to which a maximum of 8 drives can be connected. A SERCOS interface is placed in this model that provides a connection to the attached drives. A four fiber optic loop is used in this model for developing communication between the drive and the module. The device should be installed into the control cabinet of at least IP54 protection. A standard ISA bus is also placed for developing communication between the module and the industrial PC. Before installation, the device must be programmed according to the required functions.
The model MTC-P01.2-E1-NN-NN-NN-FW is also equipped with a lithium-ion battery that helps in storing user data for up to 6 months. A fully charged battery will provide the maximum backup time of 5000 hours. The model comes with a power-fail connection that generates a signal to save the relevant data in case of any power failure. The MTC-P01.2 control should be operated under the permissible ambient conditions prescribed by the supplier. A 1 MB RAM is also placed in this unit.
