The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW computer numeric processor is a state-of-the-art device designed by Rexroth Indramat for accurate numeric control in the servo system. This numeric controller is highly flexible and cost-efficient, its ability to control up to 8 drive controllers simultaneously makes it effective in industrial production systems with complex operational requirements. The numeric controller operates with a serial real-time communication interface which provides it with information about the operation of drive controllers as they happen. The installation of additional plugged-in modules can increase the maximum amount of drive controllers controllable by the MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW industrial numeric controller to 32 drives. However, if 32 drive controllers are to be connected to this numeric controller, a total of four optic fiber loops have to be used.
The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW industrial numeric controller features an ISA bus through which internal communication between the numeric controller and the industrial PC takes place. The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-NN-NN-FW numerical controller is installed into the free ISA slot of the industrial PC, this installation must be properly done to ensure the that numeric controller does can not fall off due to shock or vibration.
