Product Description
The MSS312H-0025-FA-N0CN-NNNN is a modern IndraDyn H product developed by Rexroth Bosch Indramat for its synchronous speed AC motors. Specifically, this product model is a stator, and it comes with a dedicated cooling jacket for temperature control. The integrated cooling jacket uses an efficient liquid coolant for dissipating heat during operation. As a massive stator, featuring a 312H body frame, this product weighs around 215 kilograms, or about 474 pounds. Like all other MSS312H stators, this model does not have a blocking brake or encoder included. With its winding type, the MSS312H-0025-FA-N0CN-NNNN can maintain a rated synchronous speed of 250 rev/min.
At the rated speed, the MSS312H-0025-FA-N0CN-NNNN delivers a rated torque of 1125 Nm at an equivalent output power of 29.5 kW. When excited with a higher DC bus voltage, it is possible to operate this stator to achieve a higher synchronous speed. Specifically, when the DC bus voltage is increased to 750 volts, this stator can achieve a maximum speed of 1100 rpm. This increase in speed, however, usually leads to a drop in the machine’s output torque. For this reason, fine-tuning of the parameters must be done to operate both the MSS stator and MRS rotor according to the intended application.
At most, the MSS312H-0025-FA-N0CN-NNNN can deliver a consistent torque output of 2750 Nm. To achieve this maximum torque, the machine’s speed must be decreased or adjusted. Based on its datasheet, the MSS312H-0025-FA-N0CN-NNNN can operate at an ampere range between 62 and 180 A. Although this stator can accommodate a maximum current of 180 amperes, the protection devices and cables may not be able to handle this continuous current for a long time.
