Product Description
The MSS272D-0050-FA-N0CN-NNNN is one of the most stable three-phase stators under Rexroth Bosch’s IndraDyn H product line. Earning quite a reputation for its high torque output and efficiency, this stator works best when paired with an MRS272D rotor. During operation, this product utilizes an integrated liquid cooling system that allows it to cool efficiently in a short period of time. Based on documentation, this stator has a thermal time constant of 7 minutes, allowing it to fully reach steady-state temperature in around 11 minutes. After continuous mode of operation, this stator is expected to have fully cooled after 35 minutes of rest.
With its winding type, the MSS272D-0050-FA-N0CN-NNNN achieves a rated speed of 500 rpm and delivers a torque output of 525 Nm. Although the stator technically does not provide the torque, it induces the rotating magnetic field that induces the rotor to move. The rotor, in turn, moves in unison with the generated magnetic field from the stator. When excited at 750 VDC bus voltage, the stator can achieve a synchronous speed of 2,200 rpm. Without the rotor, the MSS272D-0050-FA-N0CN-NNNN weighs 112.3 kilograms and operates at an ambient temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
Since the MSS272D-0050-FA-N0CN-NNNN is an IndraDyn H stator, the protection class is IP00. Without a motor frame, the machine is susceptible to liquid jets and other dust particles. In total, the stator has six pole pairs, or 12 poles, spaced 30 mechanical degrees apart. Like all other MSS stators, this unit has an insulation class F. At nameplate conditions, this stator generates a changing magnetic field enough to output a power of 27.5 kW and a current of 71 amperes.
