Product Description
The MSS242F-0060-FA-N0CN-NNNN is a reliable three-phase stator designed and manufactured by Indramat Rexroth under the famous IndraDyn H series. It features an integrated liquid cooling system that works with a set of temperature sensors during operation. It features a stable body frame that has the following dimensions: 270 mm, 425 mm, and 110 mm. Without an MRS rotor, this stator has a total mass of 105.1 kilograms, roughly about 231 pounds. Like all other MSS stators, this unit operates effectively at an ambient temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity between 5 and 95 percent.
When operated at a DC bus voltage of 540 VDC, the MSS242F-0060-FA-N0CN-NNNN achieves its nameplate or rated parameters. Specifically, at rated conditions, this stator generates a magnetic field that moves at a synchronous speed of 600 rpm to induce a rotor torque of 425 Nm. At this operating point, the equivalent output power on the shaft can reach as high as 26.7 kW, while the windings can draw a current of 68 amperes. When allowed to operate at optimal conditions, the MSS242F-0060-FA-N0CN-NNNN can achieve the following maximum values: 970 Nm, 3,600 rpm, and 180 A.
With the MSS242F-0060-FA-N0CN-NNNN’s energy-efficient liquid cooling system, the unit has a thermal time constant of 7.3 minutes. This thermal time constant implies that the stator, and the motor as a whole, reaches equilibrium temperature very quickly compared to other motors of the same size. Generally, liquid-cooled motors exhibit faster cooling times than surface-ventilated or naturally-cooled motors. During operation, the liquid cooling system has a rated power loss of 3.8 kilowatts and a coolant inlet temperature range of 10 to 40 degrees Celsius.
