Product Description
The MSS202D-0360-FA-N0CN-NNNN is a modular stator created by Rexroth Bosch Indramat for its IndraDyn H motor series. Boasting a built-in liquid cooling system, this stator performs well in strenuous applications, particularly those requiring high magnitudes of torque. It comes with a three-phase winding and facilitates electromagnetic induction via its powerful set of 10 poles. For this stator, the poles have a mechanical separation of 36 degrees. In three-phase AC motors, the number of poles plays an important role in increasing the output torque. Generally, stators with a large number of poles are capable of producing more magnetic fields that can induce high rotor torque. As a tradeoff, however, the synchronous speed tends to decrease for a larger number of poles.
With a frame class of 202D, the MSS202D-0360-FA-N0CN-NNNN achieves a rated torque, speed, power, and current of 136 Nm, 3600 rpm, 51.3 kW, and 102 amperes, respectively. With these rated values, the stator can deliver 136 Nm continuously at a speed of 3,600 rpm. Considering its size, this loading capability is impressive. Without the rotor, this stator unit weighs 37.6 kilograms and measures 220 mm by 315 mm by 96 mm. Depending on the rotor version, the MSS202D-0360-FA-N0CN-NNNN’s moment of inertia may vary. Based on its datasheet, however, the standard moment of inertia is 0.077 kg(m^2).
Unlike other MSS stators, the MSS202D-0360-FA-N0CN-NNNN exhibits relatively high-speed characteristics at the expense of lower torque output. At most, this stator can induce enough magnetic field to generate a driving torque of 333 Nm, assuming a DC bus voltage of 750 volts. When allowed to operate freely at low torque conditions, the stator can induce the rotor to achieve a maximum driving speed of 12,500 rpm.
