Product Description
The MSS102D-0800-FA-N0CN-NNNN is an exceptional IndraDyn H stator carefully designed by Rexroth Bosch Indramat for its high-quality synchronous high-speed motors. With a frame size class of 102D, the MSS102D-0800-FA-N0CN-NNNN measures 120 mm by 206 mm by 46 mm and weighs 7.2 kilograms. Because of its small construction and low inertia, this stator is perfect for driving loads at very high speeds. Particularly, the MSS102D-0800-FA-N0CN-NNNN can achieve a rated synchronous speed of 8000 rpm when excited by a 540 VDC bus voltage. For more demanding applications, this stator can provide a maximum synchronous speed of 22,500 rpm.
With six poles evenly spaced 60 degrees apart, the MSS102D-0800-FA-N0CN-NNNN can deliver a rated torque of 20 Nm and draw 24 amperes. At optimal operating conditions, this stator can provide 45 Nm of torque output, which is more than twice the rated value. Since synchronous machines operate without a slip speed, this stator’s rated values are already sufficient for estimating the stall values. For a short period of time, the MSS102D-0800-FA-N0CN-NNNN can support a peak current of 69 amperes. To support this peak current, Rexroth Bosch recommends a minimum power wire cross section of 4 mm^2.
Similar to other MSS stators under the IndraDyn H series, the MSS102D-0800-FA-N0CN-NNNN boasts an energy-efficient cooling system that operates at an inlet temperature range of 10 to 40 degrees Celsius. This cooling system comes with an axial cable connector and dissipates a total of 1.3 kilowatts during operation. Considering this liquid cooling system, the stator requires only 7 minutes to achieve 63 percent of its final temperature. At room temperature, this stator has an equivalent winding resistance of 0.8 ohms and a longitudinal inductance of 1.28 mH.
