Product Description
The MSM040B-0300-NN-C0-CC1 is an MSM series synchronous servomotor from Bosch Rexroth in its IndraDyn S range of motors. The motor has a high degree of accuracy due to its optical encoder. It has separate connectors for power and encoder connection. The device has a size of 040 and a length of B. The actual acting radial force of the motor must never exceed the maximum permitted radial force. When a gearbox is fitted to the motor, the thermal connection between the motor and the machine on which it is installed gets altered. The performance must be reduced to avoid thermal overload.
The flange end of the servomotor may move by about 0.6mm with respect to the motor housing because of thermal effects. The type plate fitted on the encoder housing provides details on how to obtain the spare parts of the motor in case of a breakdown or faulty operation. The device encompasses an electrically releasing holding brake. The motor is free of hazardous substances like chlorinated hydrocarbons, asbestos and mercury. The unit has a relative humidity ranging between 5 and 95% when it being transported or stored. The device must be transported between a temperature range of -20°C and +80°C.
The encoder and power connections of the motor are established using flexible connection cables that feature a bayonet lock and an IP 54 connector. The encoder of the motor has a maximum current consumption of 70mA and a maximum speed of 6,000min-1. The holding brake features an external power supply while the motor incorporates a cable tail-type electrical connection. The synchronous device has a natural convection cooling mode and a winding type of 0300. It features an allowed pollution degree of 2 as per EN50178 specifications. The motor comes with a one-year warranty period and it can be delivered to any address worldwide through our global delivery network.
