Product Description
The MSM IndraDyn S motors by Rexroth Indramat are meant for accuracy and speed. The series features lightweight models aimed at delivering maximum torque. The MSM series is divided into sub-groups based on the frame size, but there are other combinations as well. The Rexroth MSM IndraDyn S motors have been tried and tested, and have obtained UL, CSA and EN certifications.
The MSM020B-0300-NN-M0-CG0 lightweight motor by Rexroth Indramat features a frame size of 20 and the frame length ‘B’. The synchronous motor has a mass of 0.47 kilograms and features four pole pairs. The compact design of the motor ensures cooling via natural convection and this cooling type complies with the IC00 standard. The optical encoder attached to the motor is a multi-turn absolute interface. The 17 + 16 bit optical encoder has a maximum speed of 6,000 RPMs and it offers 65,536 distinguishable revolutions. Furthermore, the MSM020B-0300-NN-M0-CG0 IndraDyn S motor has a cable tail for electrical connections. Unlike other MSM models that come with plain shaft without a sealing ring, the MSM020B-0300-NN-M0-CG0 has a different shaft drive.
The lightweight synchronous IndraDyn S motor by Rexroth offers a continuous torque of 0.32 Nm while it can reach 0.95 Nm. Similarly, the continuous current generated by the motor is 1.10 A that peaks at 3.30 amperes. The 0300 winding offers a high amount of resistance equivalent to 13.20 ohms. At the same time, the 4-pole motor offers a low rotor inertia of 0.00001 kgm2. The torque-to-inertia ratio indicates that the motor is capable of reaching maximum torque and coming back to rest within seconds. The MSM020B-0300-NN-M0-CG0 motor offers maximum speed of 5,000 RPM while maintaining the ambient temperature under 40 degree Celsius. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
