Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is known for many things in the drive industry and one of them is how the company continues to set new standards by the design and manufacturing of ultra-modern and super-efficient drive units. It is able to do this by combining years of experience in the industry with constant research on the most beneficial and future-proof technologies available. The Bosch Rexroth IndraDyn S servo motors set a new standard for servo and rotary main drives on the market, packed with a wide range of features. These include a high torque density, spot-on precision by encoder systems, and a compact design. The series is made up of different motor models with different driving powers and interfaces.
The MSK101E-0450-NN-M2-BP2-RNNN is an IndraDyn S servo motor of frame size 101 and length E as designated by Bosch Rexroth. Its integrated encoder system is a multiturn-absolute optical encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface and 2048 increments. Its encoder unit aids the drive controller in controlling speed and positioning the motor by providing signals on its position at every point in time. It also plays a protective role by promoting adaptation between the motor and drive controller with its data memory, where the motor parameters are stored.
A power connector on the B-side of the MSK101E-0450-NN-M2-BP2-RNNN is used for its electrical connection. Using a shaft with shaft sealing ring and keyway according to DIN 6885, it connects machine elements to be driven to the motor drive shafts. It is also equipped with 4 pole pairs and an electrically-releasing holding brake of 70Nm holding torque. Its maximum speed is 6,000 rotations per minute and its theoretical maximum torque value is 231.0 Nm.
