The Bosch Rexroth IndraDyn S servo motors set a new standard for servo and rotary main drives on the market, packed with a wide range of features. These include a high torque density, spot-on precision by encoder systems, and a compact design. The series is made up of different motor models with different driving powers and interfaces.

The MSK101E-0450-NN-M2-BP2-RNNN is an IndraDyn S servo motor of frame size 101 and length E as designated by Bosch Rexroth. Its integrated encoder system is a multiturn-absolute optical encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface and 2048 increments. Its encoder unit aids the drive controller in controlling speed and positioning the motor by providing signals on its position at every point in time. It also plays a protective role by promoting adaptation between the motor and drive controller with its data memory, where the motor parameters are stored.
