Product Description
The motors of the IndraDyn S family are powerful servo motors available in different series, including the MSK series. The motors in this series are synchronous motors used to build drive systems like the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They are also used in robotics, metal-forming machines, printing and paper-processing machines, machine tools, and packaging and food-processing machines.
The MSK101E-0300-NN-M1-BP3-NNNN is a servo motor of the MSK series in the IndraDyn S family. It is a self-cooling motor that utilizes natural convection for heat dissipation. The heat generated during its operation is transferred to the ambient air by convection and onto the machine construction. Information on the current rotor position of this motor is provided to its drive controller by an optical multiturn absolute encoder with Hiperface. The encoder records the absolute, indirect position of the motor within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations and preserves this information even after a switch-off. In addition, it is equipped with a data memory where the motor’s parameters are stored.
An electrically-released holding brake on the MSK101E-0300-NN-M1-BP3-NNNN holds the axis when the machine is de-energized. It has a holding torque value of 120Nm and a rated voltage of 24V. The output shaft of the motor is one with a shaft sealing ring and keyway, according to DIN 6885-1. The key allows form-fitting torque transmission with constant direction, while the shaft sealing ring is made from materials that are highly resistant to oils and chemicals. The maximum speed of this MSK model is 4,600 revolutions per minute, while its maximum torque is 231.0Nm. It has four pole pairs and belongs to the IP 65 protection category according to EN 60529.
