Product Description
MSK synchronous motors by Bosch Rexroth are designed to be used as rotary and servo motors. They are manufactured by a combination of Bosch Rexroth's past experiences and new technologies in the industry. Their typical field of application includes machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging and food-processing machines, metal-forming machines, and robotics. They have special features which make them perfect for their wide field of application; these features include high dynamics, a compact construction, a high torque density, and an extremely high degree of precision due to new optical encoder systems.
The motor encoder of the MSK101E-0300-NN-M1-BG3-NNNN is the multiturn absolute hiperface, an optical encoder with a system accuracy of +/- 80 angular seconds, which permits absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. The motor is equipped with an electrically released holding brake with a torque of 120 Nm. Its temperature is monitored by two systems that are independent of each other; the temperature sensor, which is built into the stator and the temperature model. They both ensure the protection of the motor against irreversible damage by thermal overload.
The MSK101E-0300-NN-M1-BG3-NNNN housing varnish is black RAL 9005 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water which protects against diluted acids or alkaline solutions, water, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils. The housing has limited resistance against hydraulic oils and organic solvents and enables cooling by natural convection. In addition to the protection provided from the housing varnish, the motor has a protection class of IP 65 which means it is dustproof protected against contact and water jets. The motor undergoes factory testing before distribution. The testing consists of electrical and motor tests for confirmed safety.
