Product Description
The IndraDyn S series of synchronous servo motors are industry pacesetters, especially in terms of their high range of torque production, speed capacity, extremely high precision via advanced optical encoder systems and their IP65 protection class. These motors are produced by Rexroth Bosch Indramat, and they are a convenient and cost-effective approach to automation.
The MSK101E-0300-NN-M1-AP0-NNNN is a part of the IndraDyn motor series, and this is indicated via the MSK code in its name. This servo motor has a typical housing type with a large construction, weighing at 53.5kg. It has a total frame length of 501mm and a shaft length of 80mm. The centering diameter is 180mm, and the flange is 192mm in size. These sizing specifications are based on its ‘101E’ frame length/size code. It is common with MSK motors for the sizing to determine their mechanical performance. Usually: “the bigger the motor, the higher the torque”. This is the case with the MSK101E-0300-NN-M1-AP0-NNNN which produces an outstanding 70Nm of continuous torque at standstill. This torque can be overloaded to a maximum value of 231Nm under intermittent duty. The type of duty and torque characteristics is also determined by the drive controller.
The shaft of this motor is designed as per DIN 6885-1, along with keyways and shaft sealing rings; however, it does not have a holding brake. Its ‘0300’ winding offers a maximum current allowance of 187.4A, and a continuous current capacity of 41.6A at standstill. Also, the speed is rated at a maximum of 4,600min-1. The MSK101E-0300-NN-M1-AP0-NNNN features an optical encoder: a Hiperface multi-turn encoder. This ensures excellent performance in a closed loop system, especially when the rotary requirement is within a single revolution. Finally, it uses natural convection for heat dissipation and can withstand operations with heat generation of up to 155℃.
