Product Description
Made for a variety of applications beyond regular servo motor applications, the servo motors of the MSK series are unique and powerful. They comprise the IndraDyn S family and are notable for their wide power spectrum and size gradations. They also have a high torque density and are used as rotary and servo main drives in robotics, handling systems, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK101E-0300-FN-S2-AP2-RNNN is an MSK servo motor with a frame size of 101 and a frame length E. It is equipped with an integrated liquid cooling mechanism that makes it suitable for extreme loads, as seen in start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The coolant in this cooling system absorbs the heat from the motor and releases it to the ambient air through a downstream heat exchanger. The servo motor also has an output shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 and radial shaft sealing rings according to DIN 3760 – design A. It supports flange assembly (B05) and has a compact size that ensures its space-conserving installation.
An electrically-released holding brake on the MSK101E-0300-FN-S2-AP2-RNNN holds the axis when the machine is in the de-energized state. It has a holding torque of 70Nm and requires a rated voltage of 24V and a current of 1.29A. The holding brake has a moment of inertia of 0.003000 kgm2. The encoder system of this MSK motor is the single-turn encoder with Hiperface and 16 signal periods. It controls the motor and monitors its position by presenting signals to its drive controller which transfers the determined position value to a controller. It also has a data memory that ensures the easy and quick commissioning of the motor.
