Product Description
By combining high-quality drive and motion control units to create the advanced Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, Bosch Rexroth developed a revolutionary product. One of such high-quality drive units is the MSK servo motor. The MSK servo motors are synchronous servo motors typically used as rotary and servo main motors in various applications.
The MSK101E-0300-FN-M1-AG2-NNNN is a synchronous motor created by Bosch Rexroth. It is a model of servo motors in the MSK series and features a multiturn encoder for the precise detection of its position. This encoder uses the optical measuring principle to ensure this and records the absolute, indirect position of the motor within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. Its system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds, and it preserves the absolute position of the axis even after a switch-off. Another advantage of the encoder is its data memory, where the motor’s parameters are stored to enhance its rapid startup and risk-free adaptation to the drive controller.
Built for liquid cooling, the MSK101E-0300-FN-M1-AG2-NNNN is suitable for extreme loads, as seen in continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its maximum speed is 4,600 revolutions per minute, and it has four pole pairs. The MSK motor’s housing is completely sealed with an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating according to EN 60529. Hence, it is dust-proof, shock-proof, and impervious to sprays from water jets. This housing is coated with a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water that is resistant to dilute acids and alkaline solutions. The motor’s output shaft is a plain type with a shaft sealing ring, and its electrically-released holding brake has a holding torque of 70Nm.
