The MSK synchronous motors are cutting-edge automation products with extensive functionality. They are engineered by Bosch Rexroth and distinguished by a high torque density and a compact size. The MSK motors are a part of the IndraDyn S motor family. Their applications include machine tools, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and printing and paper-processing machines.

The MSK101E-0300-FN-M1-AG0-NN01 is a synchronous servo motor model in Bosch Rexroth's MSK series. Because of its liquid cooling system, it is suitable for operations involving extreme loads, such as start-stop operations with high repetition rates. At maximum efficiency, it has a torque of 231 Nm and can conduct a current of 187.4 A. This model also features a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring resistant to potential damage by oils and chemicals.  This motor is equipped with a multiturn absolute optical encoder. This motor encoder features a  data memory for storing the motor type name, control loop parameters, and motor parameters. This set of information enables a smooth operation of the motor with the drive controller.

The motor housing varnish of the MSK101E-0300-FN-M1-AG0-NN01 is a black (RAL 9005) 2k Epoxy resin coating. It is resistant to various chemical agents such as diluted acids, seawater, and alkaline solutions. This motor has a temperature sensor and temperature model. These two temperature monitoring systems operate independently to protect the motor against the irreparable damage of thermal overloading.
