Product Description
The Bosch MSK101E-0200-NN-S1-BP2-NNNN is a MSK series synchronous servo motor. It supports several features such as optional holding brake, integrated encoder, and shaft with keyway. The holding brake is a safety feature designed to prevent unintentional or accidental shaft rotation. The brake clamps down onto the shaft and only releases it after a 24 Volts DC signal is applied. Current draw of the brake is 1.29 Amps. Its maximum connection time is 53 milliseconds and the maximum disconnection time is 97 milliseconds. The moment of inertia of the holding brake is 0.00300 kg m2. Holding torque of the brake is 70 Nm. In addition to a keyway the motor shaft also features a shaft seal. The function of the seal is twofold: prevent oil leakage and protect against dust and water ingress.
The housing of the servo motor has a standard design. MSK101E motors offer four options for the power connection location. On the MSK101E-0200-NN-S1-BP2-NNNN motor, the power connection is on side B of the housing. The motor encoder is an optical singleturn encoder rated for 128 signal periods. The encoder supports Hiperface. Current draw of the encoder is 60 milliamps and the voltage range is 7 to 12 Volts DC. The cooling options for the servo motor include natural convection and surface cooling. The motor output torque is 70 Nm with natural convection and 105.5 Nm with surface cooling. The output current is 32.1 Amps with natural convection and 48.2 Amps with surface cooling. The combined mass of the motor and the holding brake is 57.3 kilograms. The protection class is IP65 and the thermal class is 155. The specified ambient temperature for operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
