The Bosch MSK101E-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NVNN is a MSK series synchronous motor. Applications of MSK motors include robotics, metal-forming machines, printing machines and food-processing machines. The motor works in combination with a Bosch controller that controls its speed and torque. The MSK101E-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NVNN is a servo motor: it features a sensor that measures its speed and torque and sends these measurements to the controller. Six different encoders are available for MSK motors. The encoder on the MSK101E-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NVNN is a singleturn encoder that supports Hiperface and is rated for 128 signal periods. The advantage of singleturn encoders is that they provide feedback within one revolution of the motor shaft. The controller provides motor power via a dedicated power cable. The power cable connects to an electrical connector on side A of the motor housing.
The MSK101E-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NVNN motor is designed for convection cooling. Depending on load conditions, operators can also use surface cooling. The motor has a shaft with a keyway and a shaft seal. MSK motors support optional blocking brakes. However the MSK101E-0200-NN-S1-AP0-NVNN motor is without a blocking brake. Maximum speed of the motor is 4500 RPM. Its IP65 rated housing is dust proof and safe from low-pressure water jets. This allows motor use in adverse operating conditions. The motor mass is approximately 53.5 kilograms. The rated performance data are valid for the following ambient conditions: 0 to 40 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude. The motor supports flange assembly and foot assembly. In contrast to flange assembly, radial forces may only be effective in a direction perpendicular to the mounting surface (± 15°) if foot assembly is selected. The transmission of forces in other effective directions is not permitted.
